MJ's approach is rigorous, driven by proven techniques and methods that address deficiencies head-on. informative and innovative training has propelled athletes to achieve their Apex potential!​ MJ firmly believes that getting to the heart of the athlete engages them to naturally elevate, evolve, execute and excel. She instills excitement with unmatched passion for her craft that is mirrored by the athletes performance. Allowing a safe space for “sport” brain when facing intense training is essential for athletes to regulate and refocus. .
MJ has been a skating specialist for over 30 years; collaborating and working with many coaches and athletes at all levels. Early in her career, MJ was a high-level athlete and show skater before her transition to teaching skating to athletes. In addition to coaching youth athletes, she has assisted and trained coaches to provide continued development for solid foundations in their respected programs. She is a member of LTS, USFS, and Safe Sport; is NFHS Concussion Certified, and USA Hockey Member. She is focused on the science of skating mechanics; teaching solid foundational core, proper technique and body alignment to improve athlete agility, stride, and speed!!
